What is in the report a patient hands you?

Six measures from the weeks before the appointment, logged as they happened rather than remembered in the room, and laid out in a structure built for review.

Timing of effect

The expected curve for the medication and dose, modelled from published data, with the patient's own reported kick in, peak and wear off times marked against it.

Adherence and dose timing

The share of days with a dose recorded, week by week, and the time of each day's dose against the patient's usual window, with weekdays and weekends compared. A day with no dose recorded is named as exactly that, and days before the patient started logging are never counted against them.

Focus, sleep and wear off

Focus ratings day by day, with a seven day average and the patient's own usual range. Sleep night by night from a connected watch or phone. Wear off as the time from dose to the patient's reported wear off, with how each one felt, set against the modelled curve.

Blood pressure and heart rate

Patient entered or monitor synced readings, grouped by dose period so cardiovascular changes can be read against dose changes.

Side effects and dose comparison

Side effects are tagged by the patient with an optional severity and counted by day, with their trend across the window. When the dose has changed, the two most recent doses are compared side by side on focus, duration of effect, rough wear offs, side effect days, sleep and blood pressure, and the medication history gives every dose period its own figures.

Discussion points

Patterns worth raising, each with the figure behind it, such as how often wear off was difficult or appetite was low. They are prompts for the appointment, never conclusions.

Which medications and regions does ADHDose cover?

ADHDose covers the UK, EU and US prescribing sets, and the report follows local practice in each market. The medications, the monitoring expectations and the care pathways all differ by country, so the detail changes. What the report contains, and how each figure is derived, does not.

What do prescribers ask us first?

Usually the same five questions, and mostly about provenance rather than features. Here they are with the answers we would give you on a call, including the one about what the report cannot do.

Where does the concentration curve come from?
It is modelled, not measured. ADHDose applies published population pharmacokinetic parameters for the logged medication, formulation and dose, taken from published literature and manufacturer patient information leaflets. It is not a plasma measurement, and any individual will vary from the population those parameters describe.
Is ADHDose a medical device?
No. ADHDose is a consumer medication diary. It does not diagnose, dose or advise, the report is not clinically validated, and every input in it is self reported. It exists to give you a fuller picture of the weeks between appointments than recall alone.
Can the patient edit or delete their data before sharing it?
Yes. The records are the patient's and they live on the patient's phone. They can add, change or delete entries, delete everything, and decide whether to produce a report at all. Nothing reaches you unless the patient hands it to you.
Where is patient data kept?
On the patient's phone. Signing in turns on an optional encrypted backup, so a new phone doesn't mean starting again. ADHDose is subscription funded, with no advertising and no data sales.
What does the report not tell me?
Anything it was not given. A day with no dose recorded is reported as a day with no record, and the report never fills it in. Self ratings are subjective, home blood pressure readings come from consumer equipment in uncontrolled conditions, and the expected curve is modelled from published data rather than measured. It will not tell you whether a dose is right. It will tell you what the weeks looked like.
